Challenge

Alesayi Beverages Company’s energy drink Code Red was the Saudi market leader — but a lifestyle beverage called Rita was stealing ground. Not through direct competition, but by owning the casual, social occasions that Code Red wasn’t built for: study breaks, hangouts, gaming nights, everyday moments.

The beverage landscape offered no middle ground. Energy drinks felt too heavy for daily use. Sodas felt too ordinary. A fast-growing space — Lifestyle Beverages — sat unclaimed.

The task was to launch Nerve: a brand that could block Rita’s momentum without eating into Code Red’s energy territory. It had to feel bold and youth-relevant, avoid explicit energy claims, and resonate with urban Saudis aged 16–25 who want a drink that matches their identity, not just their thirst.

Solution

TO MAKE NERVE FEEL LIKE ATTITUDE IN A CAN — NOT JUST ANOTHER DRINK,

we anchored the campaign on a single Arabic tagline: ماهو بعادي — “Not Ordinary.” It speaks directly to a generation that puts its own stamp on everything, and positions Nerve as the drink that tips any moment from flat to electric.
Rather than abstract lifestyle imagery, we built each execution around a specific, relatable Saudi occasion — a mall shopping trip, traffic on the city bypass, a desert كشتة, a match-day loss. Nerve doesn’t accompany the moment; Nerve does something to it.

The visual system is cinematic and flavor-coded: dark base with vivid neon accents (purple, green, red, yellow) shifting by variant, bold Arabic headlines, and a direct-to-camera confidence. Built OOH-first, then scaled across social and digital.

This campaign answers the unspoken question:
Why drink something ordinary?
